With growth of more than 250 percent from 2014 to 2017, SmartDrive moved up the list to No. 316 this year compared to last year’s ranking of No. 395.
The platform is designed to help commercial and transit fleets improve safety and efficiency, as well as manage an entirely new set of business challenges arising from the progression of more autonomous technology on the vehicle.
SmartDrive expects that growth will accelerate as activity around the ELD mandate is finishing up and fleet managers can turn their attention towards safety.
Marking the fourth year in a row the company has been named to Fast 500, SmartDrive grew more than 200 percent between the years 2013-2016.
