Mike Baker, SmartDrive vice president of worldwide sales, joins other industry experts to discuss this timely and relevant topic for equipment managers. AEMP is partnering with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers to present the Asset Management Symposium and Customer Support Program, taking place Oct. 6-8 in Cleveland, OH, and bringing together equipment management end users, manufacturers and dealers to learn about best practices in equipment safety and other critical issues facing the industry.

Baker has more than 20 years of experience in the technology, trucking and construction industries, with a track record of success in leadership positions at growth-focused telematics companies including Navman Wireless, Qualcomm Omnitracs and HighwayMaster. He has served on the Board of Trustees for AEMP Foundation, which provided scholastic funding for individuals pursuing careers in the construction industry. He earned a BS from the University of Tennessee at Martin, and has served in both the Tennessee Army National Guard and the United States Marine Corps Reserve.
