Job Responsibilities:
The
Marketing Operations Assistant will report directly to the Marketing
Director and be responsible for supporting a broad range of tasks including: the
development of marketing materials, coordinating annual trade shows, and working
with outside vendors to support the overall marketing plan objectives.
This position will start as a temporary job that can lead to a full-time position.
• Project management: from initial concept through publication of various sales
tools-
including brochures, spec sheets, web content, newsletters, direct mailers, and electronic media.
• Coordinate activities with outside vendors including printers, designers,
distributors, and partners.
• Help develop targeted media lists, editorial calendars and help manage
targeted press distributions.
• Occasional event marketing for annual trade shows and targeted events.
• Additional tasks as needed to support the Marketing Director’s initiatives.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
• 3-5 years in marketing or public relations in a technical environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), CRM systems, and
Internet research.
• Thorough understanding of different marketing communications vehicles.
• Ability to interface with vendors, product managers, sales directors,
distributors, partners and
internal customers such as human resources.
• Highly organized with the ability multi task and prioritize work schedule to
meet project due dates.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications
Other: (travel, shift work, etc.)
Occasional travel required to support trade shows

Job Responsibilities:
SmartDrive is looking for a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual to join the Product Management team as a Senior Product Manager. As Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative, differentiated, best-in-class products and services, leveraging deep customer insights and knowledge of the competitive landscape. You will own the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including developing business cases and business justification, synthesizing and prioritizing input from internal and external stakeholders, designing new services and product features, defining the customer experience, and working closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver product releases to market.
Other responsibilities include:
• Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
• Develop and manage the product roadmap, working with Engineering, Operations, and other
functional areas to plan and prioritize product deliverables and release schedules
• Prepare market requirements, including definition of market segments and key personas
• Prepare product requirements documents (PRDs) that address the objectives of the company,
competitive outlook, industry direction, resource constraints, timeline, etc.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop requirements, prioritize
enhancements, and drive projects to completion
• Lead cross-functional teams with respect to requirements interpretation, product decisions,
specification reviews, customer satisfaction issues, bug reviews, and scheduling fixes
• Oversee all launch activities
• Communicate product plans and status to the company
• Perform competitive analysis and technology assessments
• Identify and work with strategic partners to extend and integrate product capabilities
• Create and deliver product demonstrations as needed
This position reports to the Director, Product Management.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
• 5+ experience in software product management; prefer prior experience managing and
delivering enterprise and SMB software as a service (SaaS) solutions
• Solid track record of developing and launching successful complex web-based products and services
• Experience in managing a product through its an entire product lifecycle
• Demonstrated experience in identifying customer and business problems, crafting the product vision,
writing clear, concise requirements, and leading the execution team to deliver on time and on budget
• Passionate about building great products with a focus on the user experience
• Knowledge of web standards, design, and usability
• Experience working in an agile product development environment preferred
• Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and usability testing
• Able to execute equally well on both strategic and tactical levels
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills (oral, written, active listening, and facilitation)
• Effective in cross-functional team environments
• Solid interpersonal and partnership skills, particularly when dealing with people from a variety
of technical and business backgrounds
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Fun, energetic, flexible personality
• Willingness to travel when required (20%) throughout the United States and occasionally overseas.
Education Requirements:
BA/BS in business, computer science, or other technical degree; MBA preferred
