Greg Drew, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President, SmartDrive Systems
Greg brings over 30-years experience with fast-growing technology companies to SmartDrive’s leadership. Most recently he was President and CEO of WebTrends. He served at the helm of WebTrends since 2003, driving the organization’s strategy to become a premier provider of digital marketing solutions, which has resulted in record performance nearly every quarter since. WebTrends served 8 major vertical markets and 10,000 customers worldwide including Microsoft, HSBC, Lloyds, State Farm, Nationwide and Northwest Mutual to name a few. Drew also served as founder, chairman and CEO of the technology retailer 800 Electronics, and has held leadership positions at leading high-tech companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Central Point Software, Clientele Software and NOW Software/Qualcomm. Greg is a founding board member of the Web Analytics Association, a board member of Shift Control Media and past chairman of the Software Association of Oregon. He is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University, with a BS in business management.

Greg Mauro, Vice Chairman and Founder, SmartDrive Systems
Greg founded SmartDrive in late 2004 and most recently served as President. Greg is also the Managing Partner of Revolution Ventures, which was the original investor in SmartDrive and led its Series A, Series B, and Series C financing rounds. Greg is founder and former CEO of Nextivity, a wireless technology company backed by Revolution, Goldman Sachs and Advanced Technology Partners. Previously, Greg was the first Vice President of Business Development at semiconductor companies Entropic (Nasdaq: ENTR), RF Magic, Symwave, and Quartics where Revolution is also an original investor. Greg has successfully led campaigns to raise over $300M in follow-on capital for Revolution portfolio companies, securing strategic investment from such leading companies as Intel, Cisco, Time Warner, Comcast, and Motorola. Prior to Revolution, Greg was founder of Tachyon, which has spent over $125M to be the worlds’ first carrier-grade provider of satellite-based TCP/IP connectivity. Greg is a former consultant with Monitor Group, a global strategy consulting firm. Greg attended UCLA's College of Honors and the Andersen Graduate School of Management.

James Plante, Chief Technology Officer and Founder, SmartDrive Systems
Jim founded SmartDrive in late 2004 and brings over 20 years experience in the Automotive Electronics Industry. He has held several executive roles as CEO and founder of E-band Communications, Maxima Corporation, and Belstar systems. As an avid entrepreneur, Jim raised over $100M in venture capital and grants to propel new technologies into the marketplace. In 1997, he led the acquisition and turnaround of Bel-Tronics, a 225 employee automotive electronics manufacturer and grew the company to annual sales of $20M. Jim has founded four venture capital backed technology companies and launched more than 12 new product lines in the automotive, wireless and service industries. He received a BSEE from Southern Illinois University.

Bandel L. Carano, Managing Partner, Oak Investment Partners
Bandel L. Carano joined Oak as a General Partner in 1985. Bandel has invested in companies with emphasis on Wireless and Rich-Media communications (2Wire, Airspan, Avici, CommVerge, CoreTek, Endwave, FiberTower, General Bandwidth, MobiTV, NeoPhotonics, Netopia, PictureTel, Plastic Logic, Polycom, Presdio, PulsePoint, Qtera, Sentient Networks, Tegic, Trapeze, Wellfleet and WFI); Advanced Software Systems (Entropic, firstRain, Illustra/Informix, Sybase, Tele Atlas and Visto); Advanced Semiconductors (Actel, Airgo, CommQuest, Kenet, Level 5, NemeriX, Newport Media, nLight, Qpixel, Resonext, SMIC, Solarflare, Stretch, Synaptics and Virata); Design Automation (Centric Software, Interconnectix, Parametric, Synopsys and Tensilica) and Clean Energy Technologies (Boston-Power, eSolar, PML, Relion, and Sundrop Fuels). Prior to Oak, Bandel joined Morgan Stanley's Venture Capital Group in 1983. He was responsible for advising Morgan Stanley on high-tech new business development, as well as sponsoring venture investments. Bandel received BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He currently serves on the Investment Advisory Board of the Stanford Engineering Venture Fund.

Dick Kramlich, General Partner/Co-Founder, New Enterprise Associates (NEA)
Dick has more than 35 years of venture capital investment experience. Dick focuses on a broad range of technically oriented companies. He was fortunate to have been the first person to have invested in the Ethernet with Bob Metcalfe, an early investor in balloon angioplasty with John Simpson and also backed the company that originated PowerPoint presentations. Present board memberships include Financial Engines, Force10 Networks, Foveon, Informative, MaxiScale, Nexthop Technologies, Tabula, Visual Edge Technology, Xoom Corporation and Zhone Technologies (NASDAQ: ZHNE). Previous board memberships include among others, 3Com Corporation (NASDAQ: COMS), Ascend Communications (acquired by Lucent Technologies), Dallas Semiconductor (acquired by Maxim Integrated Products), Healtheon/WedMD (NASDAQ: HLTH), Immunex (acquired by Amgen), InfoGear (acquired by Cisco Systems), Juniper Networks (NASDAQ: JNPR), Macromedia (NASDAQ: MACR) acquired by Adobe, NetSolve (NASDAQ: NTSL) acquired by Cisco Systems, Decru (acquired by Network Appliance), Silicon Graphics, and Semiconductor Manufacturing International (SMIC) (NYSE: SMI). He was recently Chairman and President of the National Venture Capital Association. Prior to joining NEA, Dick was a General Partner of Arthur Rock & Associates and Executive Vice President of Gardner & Preston Moss. He received an MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in History from Northwestern University.

Robert J. Hutter, Partner, Revolution Ventures
Robert is both a partner at revolution ventures and a CEO of a stealth mode company. Previously, Robert served as Executive Vice President of CombineNet during its formation stage, where he led financing efforts. Today the company is the market's leading provider of advanced combinatorial procurement technology for Fortune 500 corporations. Robert also served as VP of Corporate Development at Solarflare Communications, the worldwide pioneer in PHYs and controllers for standards-based 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks running on copper cabling. Robert was an Associate at Fundamental Capital in Palo Alto, CA. At Fundamental, Robert was instrumental in the start-up phases of a variety of companies including Silicon Spice, a fabless semiconductor company that was acquired by Broadcom in August 2000 for $1.3 billion. Robert is a graduate of Harvard University.

Robert Siegel, Director
Rob is currently General Manager of Video and Software Solutions for GE Security (NYSE:GE). In this role, he has responsibility for GE’s video surveillance global Center of Excellence (COE), which generated revenues of over $350 million in 2006. Robert’s responsibilities include developing the firm’s strategic direction in video, delivering on global product roadmaps and the formulation of the corresponding go-to-market activities. Robert has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from Stanford University. In 1996, he served as lead researcher for Andrew Grove's best-selling book, “Only the Paranoid Survive.”
